Maximum Daily Loss

Modified on Tue, 28 Apr at 2:33 PM

Maximum Daily Loss is 5% and is calculated based on the previous day’s end of day (00:00 server time) balance or equity (whichever is higher).

Example: If your prior day’s end of day equity was $50,000 you would Hard Breach the Maximum Daily Loss of 5% if your equity the next day fell to below $47,500

Example: If your prior day's end of day balance was $52,000 but equity was $51,000, the maximum daily loss would be calculated from the balance of $52,000 as this is higher. The Maximum Daily Loss would therefore be calculated as 5% of $52,000= $2,600. Therefore your equity cannot fall below $49,400 for that day.
